We stayed half board. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the staff were exceptional, so friendly, engaging with the kids and totally spoilt them with milkshakes and lollies…happy kids = happy parents!! Rooms were so big, yes they are a little dated but for the price we paid it represented excellent value. Our favourite thing was the pool….the view of the mountains and jungle from the pool was just incredible. We stayed in five star resorts and cheap basic places during our trip around Sri Lanka and as a family this hotel is the one that sticks in our head the most, we all loved it.

The views are fantastic! Best ever! Rooms on the upper levels are super spacious and overlook the entire valley. Lower rooms at the pool are older and smaller. Pool very nice to cool down, not huge, but big enough. Breakfast best we had so far in Sri-Lanka, many fruits, eggs, omelets, yohgurt and GREAT COFFEE (very hard to find in Sri Lanka)

Very few hotels in Ella have a swimming pool, so we got lucky when a room became available when we arrived in Ella! It’s up a steep hill a short drive / tuktuk from Ella’s central area (maybe 5 minutes or less) but benefits from a swimming pool and amazing views plus has a restaurant serving everything you could need if you just wanted to relax. Rooms were clean and comfy with good facilities and bathroom. Staff incredibly helpful and informative. Delicious buffet breakfast also available.

The most amazing magical place to stay.. It was only a short one night stay for us, if we had more time we would of loved to have stayed longer. The hotel was set in the most picturesque hill, with fantastic views of ella rock. Our room was the biggest one we stayed in throughout our trip in Sri Lanka, more the size of a small apartment! Hot water in the bathroom, tea and coffee facilities and fridge with a mini bar. Breakfast was a lovely buffet and the staff were fantastic.. Highly recommend this place ☺️

room was very spacious and comfortable. Rooms were air-conditioned which made us more comfortable in the night. Staff were really helpful from the managers to the ground staff and restaurant staff. Very friendly approach and willing to help attitude. Beautiful view from the hotel and pool was clean and comfortably warm.

Amazing views down through the valley. The staff were really nice and helpful. Everything was very clean - bedrooms and pool etc. The overall environment was very nice. Breakfast buffet was fantastic with a great variety of fruit, eggs, waffles, cereal, iced coffee and much more! Short walk in to Ella town. We really enjoyed this little treat of a spot, it’s slightly more expensive than places around but very worth it. Felt like a luxury stay in Sri Lanka.

A really beautiful location with stunning views from the property with little Adam's peak to one side and Ella rock from the other. Close enough to all the amenities of Ella. It was a fantastic base to explore and after a day's hiking with the kids it was great to cool off in the pool. The breakfast was excellent and the curry was very good. The staff were really helpful.

We had a wondeful stay. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was huge with a breathtaking view of the Ella mountains. The mattress was also very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious.

Tremendous views of the valley around Ella. Pool was clean and fresh. Breakfast was varied Sri Lankan food and delicious. Make sure you find the 5 minute short cut to walk to town. Well worth it.
